Swimming instruction has been around for a long time. Every parent's main concern is their child's safety, so teaching their child to swim is a must in the warm-weathered states. For the last hundred years, parents have taken their child to a near by community pool or recreation center for swimming lessons. Imagine driving 30 minutes in traffic to arrive 5 minutes late to a 30 minute swimming lesson, consisting of 4 other children, all of the same age. While one child is crying, another is making distracting noises, and the other two are splashing each-other, your child is ready to learn to swim. The remaining 25 minutes of the lesson goes by, with each child receiving approximately 6 minutes of 'instruction.' After the lesson is over, it's time to grab your bag to change your child out of their bathing suit, and get back into the car for another 30 minute drive. This is the typical setting of most swimming lessons across America. We have found that children who go through these programs can take 2-3 times longer to learn to swim, as opposed to having their lessons in a more private and comfortable setting - their backyard pool!

Although we do provide a convenient alternative for the parents, convenience is not our main concern - swimming safety is. The Swim Squad provides a niche in a market that has just begun to be exposed. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, 98% of all preschooler drownings occur in the child's home pool, or pool of friends, neighbors, or relatives. The Swim Squad strives to teach those children to be as safe in and around the pools they are most exposed to!

Proven Concept Our program is truly unique. We have an extensive online back-office/database to help you manage your current customers, promotions, employees, and administrative duties. Instructors are also set up with an online account, and may view/edit their upcoming schedule or customer contact information if needed. Parents can go online and choose whatever dates and times work best for them for their lessons - there is no mandatory schedule they must abide by. Once a registration has been made, our instructors and managers are notified immediately with contact information and an updated schedule allowing you, the franchise owner, to have more time to market, advertise, and provide excellent customer service!

About Us - Our Story The Swim Squad was founded in 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. Owner Jordan Meher became a certified swim instructor in 1999 and has a relentless passion to help children learn about swimming safety. Throughout his studies at the University of Florida, he continued teaching swimming lessons around Gainesville. The demand for at home swimming lessons far exceeded Jordan's expectations, and thus The Swim Squad was founded. The Swim Squad has become one of the fastest growing swimming programs in the US, doubling in size each year. With over 3 million residential pools existing in the US, the sky is the limit!

The Swim Squad will provide any new Franchisee with the necessary training and inside information to ensure success! Each Franchisee will participate in a 2 week training course involving all of our policies and procedures, as well as business operations. Upon successful completion, a Swim Squad representative will provide on-site training for an additional 10 business days to help the transition into your new business! We are not happy unless you are - and we strive for each and every one of our Franchise systems to be effective and successful!
